Would you be my Valentine? My outfit for Valentine´s Day.

Hey guys!

For most of us is Valentine´s Day a day to spend with the loved ones and giving to each other  flowers, pralines, jewellery and perfume. For the global trade it´s a good possibility to boost the businnes. But nobody really knows the history of this special day. There are several versions but the most common one is about a Christian called Valentinus.

The story of Valentine’s Day begins in the third century .At that time in the ancient Rom it was prohibited to Christians to practice their religion. Christianity was seen as a crime punishable by death. But Valentinus was dedicated to the ideals of Christ; not even the threat of death could keep him from practicing his beliefs.  One day he was arrested and imprisoned.

Valentinus had a pretty, young daugher who´s name was Julia. Julia was blind since her birth. She only saw the world through her father´s eyes. Valentinus read stories to her, described everything around to her.

On the eve of his death Valentinus wrote a last note to Julia. He signed it, „From your Valentine.“  His sentence was carried out the next day, February 14, 270 A.D.

Now you lerned some history ;). The lesson in this story is that you don´t have to wait until Valentine´s Day to tell someone how much they mean to you. Life is short.

Jumper with extra long sleeves and cuff detail

Hey Guys!

Extra long sleeves trend stretches into next fashion season and will probably stay a while but I don´t mind it because it´s not only stylish and cosy, the long sleeves keep your hands warm without wearing gloves on a cold, rainy fall day ;).

I paired an cropped, black & white stiped long sleeves jumper with highwaisted denim jeans, leather jacket and boots.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Hey guys!

The mid-lenght skirts are also in the coming season a huge trend. I was looking for ages for the perfect skirt and finally find it. I am in love with the color and it just has the perfect lenght for me. I like to combinate feminine skirts with some boots but it also looks great with some white sneakers.

Have a nice weekend y´all!

Fall/Winter Trends 2017

Summer is almost over and slowly it´s time to stowage my shorts, offshoulderblouses and summer dresses and pull out my cosy knitwear.

I picked out for you my 5 favourite FW2017 trends which are pretty-cool and also very wearable. I can´t wait to wear them all !

  1. Vintage Floral Print

…which admittedly looks a little bit like grandma´s curtains. The designers applied the vintage print on everything from casual shirts to full-length dresses.

3. Fishnets

Honestly, I was surprised to see the fishnet tights also in coming season. My Instagramfeed was flooded with fishnet tights. Now I am glad that the hype is over and I don´t have to see any fishnets tights with destroyed jeans and sneakers anymore. But I think the new way to combinate them in upcoming season is pretty hot. The models on the runway wore fishnet tights with elegant, feminine dresses and skirts. HOT, HOT, HOT…

  1. Vintage Inspired Furs

Back to the roots. Last season we saw a lot of statement fur on the runway. This season it´s all about vintage inspired fur. My tip for have a look on a flea market in your neighbourhood, where you can find affordable, individual piece.
